Party Time...Excellent...

Emma had her birthday party this Saturday. We had a lot of fun "cooking" with her friends.

"Emma's Cafe" opened at 11:00 on Saturday for lunch. As our guests came to the "cafe", we started off decorating aprons and chef hats.

Then we rolled out dough and made our own mini-pizzas.

While they cooked, I read them the story "Pete's a Pizza". It's one of Emma's favorites.

The pizzas are ready to eat. Yum!

After that we opened presents. Emma got some great toys from her friends. Thanks everyone!

Then we decorated cupcakes.

Check out these works of art!

We finished up by playing outside and enjoying the beautiful spring weather. The kids were sent home with their aprons and hats, some cooking utensils, and a cupcake box for one of their cupcakes.

We had a great time and hope our guests did too!

Brynlee is talking nonstop about it. She LOVED it and is excited to cook with mommy with her kitchen utensils, thanks!

Looks like fun! We had one like that for Maggie once...maybe you were there? I can't remember...all the parties blur together for the mom. But I'm sure Emma will always remember her fun five year old birthday party!
